My right ear has been kind of bugging me. I posted a topic on this previously and nobody replied so I downsized and let it heal. I do sea salt soaks. I took the acrylic plug out today and noticed the inside of the ear was looking reddish. When I put pressure behind my ear so I could see inside ... it almost looks as though there is a tiny blister type thing- like a teeny bubble of some sort... almost has a blood/puss type look.... it isn't sore or anything but when I squeeze my ear, it almost pinches. I don't know if I have to let it heal longer ... or what!? My left ear looks great and doesn't hurt at all... If anybody has any advice please let me know.
bottom picture is the back of my ear...

Thats probably your problem. Get some steel or glass plugs. I used a bit of triple anti-bacterial gel the one time i had some puss and irritation and it cleared up next day. Continue your sea salt soaks and stay away from that acrylic until fully healed.

It sounds like you're on the right track... just let it settle down and you'll be fine.

I'd recommend getting some glass or titanium plugs instead of the acrylic, though.

Anytime you have a fresh stretch glass or stainless steel/titanium are your best bets. Good tip: NEVER STRETCH WITH SILICONE!

happy stretching
