Is My ear infected?

basically i stretched it for the first time about a week ago after waiting 6th mothes from having my ears done
due to being such a noob i stretched straight up to 4 mm
my ear feels fine but it has this weird red ring all around my spiral i dont know if its infected or not ive been doing salt water washes twice a day since i stretched it and was wondering is it an infection or not? thnks in advance

What size were you pierced at?

I would strongly advice you to downsize, to whatever size is the one above the one you got pierced at, ie if you got pierced at 1.6 mm then go down to 2mm. You should not be anywhere near 4 mm. It will give you trouble sooner or later.

So downsize and do sss a couple times a day for a few weeks.

well i spoke to a piercer today after skl and he told me it isnt infected and the red ring is a scab and i was pierced at 1.6mm

Then you need to downsize to 2 mm. Unfortunately not all piercers have knowledge when it comes to stretching.
